However, we will be making a table runner instead. Here is what it will look like. I couldn't get the pointed ends in the picture. I wish you could see the butterflies that Sherie quilted on it; they look so beautiful. Three large ones in the center and small ones flying around the border. Wow, she did a great job on it! Of course, it isn't quite finished as you can see there is no binding, but I wanted to post it. I thought it was very Springy (the season) looking. Hemstitching is the art of finishing the edge of fabric. In my case it is the finishing of baby bibs, receiving blankets, burpcloths, etc. I am ordering in some of these articles that have been machine hemstitched ready for the crocheting! I will be having a class to get people started learning how to do this beautiful finish. This image will show you what I am talking about. This may not be the best example, but you can get the idea. Noone in my area is providing this service, so I am hoping it will catch on.<br /><br /><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288392954962590146" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 185px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgk1KjpUa6lXnjViIr40yo5x_7nSDxCkdSOhrKLf79FVs8ftgEsUhjhetGdKX3pKtlRzRhcOq7PRoG_QHyJD6s-RMteDbw6UbHyD5Wi4g0lJkJppic83vlWcPR-r_mdIcZ2__BhzPnlIJ8/s320/Burpcloth.jpg" border="0" /></p><p>I will have 4 booklets with different patterns for the crochet. How could I paint it pink? Or blue...it had to be neutral...I'm told purple inspires creativity! Anyway it turned out beautiful! I have such talented daughters. I could not have done it without them.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEj9JWc5jMZTWAQ33NESNcf-9qJgAybGpsAvuSUem2RsS528r2d5unLEC4rg-PZdZCvVYf2VAeXnppp-RadO9O1QeBlm2oDajX_UOfWB8PFwtk5Yh6sGqYAeAaFC0rZYzc_qTEvOFQcuk/s1600-h/Ann_painting.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259078241480022642" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEj9JWc5jMZTWAQ33NESNcf-9qJgAybGpsAvuSUem2RsS528r2d5unLEC4rg-PZdZCvVYf2VAeXnppp-RadO9O1QeBlm2oDajX_UOfWB8PFwtk5Yh6sGqYAeAaFC0rZYzc_qTEvOFQcuk/s320/Ann_painting.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUkkrAt0H7jrW-O8NIDknzBLgS2JmMggQW0RU_qYb2SvN9gjz1sHr9ScRLixAMcqV5NaWBZEuNzIogmQpGIEs6o0XdDF7xYi5EMnYLQxMS-S8i6mdipMjGiJTqQcQ-eghKoC8RHfJIO14/s1600-h/Sitting+chicks.jpg"></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUSqcJtDvJ6HuNF5lBOOMhXbvG3rzSR3s_9NftGNq8ITnVCNaD0gsqxQW9p9yTDaUq9b4WeCcyvmdqsP2gSLU_I3EBYTUGDT1i20SBx6i49u7YSNw0WfuYrNPYt3Q6VMfZaW_vdAQAZkM/s1600-h/Johna_painting.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259078242768016530" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUSqcJtDvJ6HuNF5lBOOMhXbvG3rzSR3s_9NftGNq8ITnVCNaD0gsqxQW9p9yTDaUq9b4WeCcyvmdqsP2gSLU_I3EBYTUGDT1i20SBx6i49u7YSNw0WfuYrNPYt3Q6VMfZaW_vdAQAZkM/s320/Johna_painting.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>You can see the Christmas room straight through the doorway. A BLOG! Wow what a stretch it will be, but I'm up for it. My little Glennis set me up. Let's see if I can make it work. I have a quilt store in Ada County, Idaho. I operate out of my home I have so many things to share and show you all. This should be fun. One of the first quilts I will show you is one I created using Debbie Mumm fabrics. That doesn't show too well, so I'll add another close up of the blocks. This was a fun quilt and has been quite popular for me.</div><div></div><div>I'll see how this works and maybe post some more a little later.</div></div>Nancy's Quilts & Morehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05072722773661580625noreply@blogger.com1
